Originally part of the 1705 Bonny Hall land grant, the estate features a 4,772 square foot main home built in 1938-1939 by publisher Nelson Doubleday, reached by a 4,000 foot live oak allée. The property includes a 14 acre tidal lake, a cottage where Somerset Maugham wrote The Razor's Edge, a deep-water dock permit, and roughly 25 acres of waterfowl impoundments amid prime deer, turkey, and duck habitat.
Parkers Ferry sits among some of the Lowcountry's most storied plantations, just 20 minutes from Beaufort and an hour from Charleston and Savannah.
